I found a stray cat with a sick kitten. How can I help them?

Well today I found a kitten and it's mother. The mother looks like a stray and doesn't look sick, but her kitten does, really want to help the kitten, but don't want to seperate them. What should I do? Also sorry if the photos aren't very good, and only managed to get photos of the kitten.

I am sorry but the photos did not attach to your questions. i would recommend taking the mom and kitten to the vet. That way the vet can listen to the kittens lungs and possibly get it started on antibiotics or any medications it needs. It is very important the kitten does not get dehydrated. If it is a young kitten it needs to be with mom to nurse. You can provide a litter box, food and water with a warm and clean place to stay until you can make it to the vet. hope this helps
