My dog just had puppies, losing fur, hot belly, dry nose. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female

My dog that is a mommy is losing fur, her belly is hot but not inflamed and her nose is dry. But she still eats, drinks, plays, and goes to the bathroom

If Lola recently has a litter the hair loss could be due to hormonal changes. Since her belly is hot I would have your vet take a look st her to ensure she doesn't have a fever or an infection. Your vet will be able to see if she needs any medications like antibiotics or allergy medicine. I hope this helps!

    Hair loss on the trunk can be a sign of certain diseases such as hypothyroidism and Cushings. I would encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. They may recommend blood work to help determine the diagnosis. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
