My dog limped briefly, now normal. Could there be a hidden injury?

Hi, my dog was caught between my young cousins legs while playing outside. I didn't see what happened but I heard a loud whimper that stopped as soon as I got to him. He didn't use his front right leg for about 5 minutes and then after 10 minutes he began to put pressure on it but still had a limp. It's been 9 hours and he is walking normally. I've felt his bones and they are identical to his other front leg and he doesn't react when I strech it. Without symptoms, could something be wrong?

Roopy could have been experiencing pain but it has already worn off. I would continue to monitor Roopy for the next couple days. I would take him to a vet if he starts limping again, if you notice a swelling, if he is lethargic, panting, or not eating like normal as these are signs of pain. If he becomes painful, a vet can do a thorough exam, may do some x-rays, and can prescribe appropriate pain medications to keep Roopy comfortable while he heals.
