There are many potential causes for crusts on her skin, including bacterial or fungal infection, fleas, mites, and allergies. Allergies could be to fleas, food, or the environment. Stress can also cause some changes in skin! You can try a cleansing shampoo like Dechra TrizChlor 4 Shampoo, but if it doesn't respond in a few days, she may need to go to the vet for a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Not all dogs itch with allergies. Some just have sensitive skins and just gets skin infections easily. If the crusts are coming back quickly, she may need a longer course of antibiotics. I would also consider switching her to a grain free food that doesn't have chicken or beef in it. This may help with some of her sensitivities. You can also bathe her weekly to help prevent these infections. Your vet could give you an appropriate shampoo. I hope this helps.
