Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 2 days old | 4 lbs
I purchased my puppy 2 weeks ago. At the time he was 11 weeks. On the day of purchase he was given a shot. The breeder told me that he would need his last shot in 3 weeks. I was hoping to get the last shot at the Vetco event but it is one week before. Would getting the shot a week early have a negative impact on my morkie, Riley? Also, what are so safe snacks to give him that are natural and not manufactured? Thank you.

Riley is adorable! You can get the next vaccination between 2-4 weeks after the last one so if it's been 2 weeks the upcoming clinic will be fine. There are many safe natural snacks at PetCo so ask an assistant to show you some when you are there for the clinic. I'm glad you are taking such good care of Riley and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to answer questions about his care.

Absolutely adorable puppy, maybe the cutest I have seen, and I have seen my fair share of cute puppies. Thank you for the picture of Riley. First of all congratulations to you both, new puppy for you and a new home for Riley. It is my best advise that Riley waits the three weeks rather then have his shots one week early. Is it possible to search for another vetco event happening in your area soon? Waiting the three weeks will give Riley's immune system time to fully react to his first immunisations, and be prepared and rested for the second set. You can call vetco and ask their policy on the matter, but my best advice would be to wait for Riley's sake. Healthy and natural treats are my kind of treats! I would suggest raw carrots, and small pieces of boiled boneless chicken breast as treats for training purposes. Enjoy your lovely new puppy, warmest regards to you both!
