Pet's info: Cat | Siberian | Male | neutered | 3 months and 17 days old | 3 lbs
Hi - I got a kitten about a month ago and he seemed extremely lonely. To help, I got another kitten but they don't seem to get along. While they're both sweet kittens, he's playful and she's not. She appears to be more shy and timid. After he made several aggressive overtures to play, she's taken to hiding under the couch whenever he's around. While there was initially hissing on both sides, that's subsided. It's been 5 days at this point. Will this get better?

Be patient! This often resolves on its own, but sometimes it takes weeks for different individuals to learn how to get along. Don't panic, give them time and plenty of room, separate litter boxes and food bowls, and lots of toys. They'll come around!
