Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 20 days old | 30 lbs
My dog recently developed an aversion to his crate. He may have been forced in by a family member, but I'm not sure. I have been tossing a treat in the back of the crate and walking away and leaving it open all the time to encourage him to go back in. He's a 5-month old beagle mix. Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear Birdy is having this issue. You are doing everything right! We want to make the crate a positive space. You can also start feeding him his meals in the crate (with the door open). When putting a treat in, use a half ghbvaliebtreat he doesn't get for anything else, such as a small amount of cheese, chicken or deli meat to really emphasize how good the crate is. Keep up the good work!
