Why does my chihuahua have spots on her stomach after tumor surgery?

My chihuahua had surgery in Feb to remove a tumor on her stomach. It was quite big and she has a large incision. The tumor was not malgnant. However now she has discolored spots on her stomach. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 12 lbs

If the spots are near where the incision was, it could be that the scar tissue formed in a different color than her normal skin. If the spots are in a different location, then it could be something else.
