Why is my senior dog sneezing with a bloody nose and dry paws?

Pet's info: Dog | West Highland White Terrier | Female

Hi! I have a question about my dogs health. She's 13 years old. She recently got some of her teeth removed and she also has really dry paws which she's been licking constantly. For a last couple of days she's been sneezing a lot and we now noticed little blood in her nose. What can we do? Thanks

Poor girl! It sounds like she has some allergies! You can try giving her 1/2 tablet of a 25mg Benadryl to see if this helps but with her having blood from her nose this could be something more serious like a fungal infection or a tumor in the nose so I would have your vet do an exam on her and maybe some skull X-rays. Also if her paws are dry looking she could have a bacterial or yeast infection between her toes or Paw pads. Your vet will be able to look at her pads again and see if she needs medicine for that as well. your vet will also be able to put her on a stronger allergy medicine if needed. I hope this helps and she starts to feel better soon.
