Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 12 days old
I was told that for a 5 month old puppy x2 30 minute walks a day is the maximum amount but mine seems to have so much energy and when I let him out for a wee he sprints round the garden even when I've just taken him for a walk, should I be giving him more exercise or should I keep it to an hour a day since he's a medium sized breed?

I would let ziggy set his own limits. At this age most puppies will eat, sleep , play and defecate. I would recommend shorter walks to just make sure Ziggy isn't over doing it. However you can still play fetch, work on training and other types of activities to help with ziggys hyperness.
