My dog scratches my door and pees on my bed. How do I stop him?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | neutered

My son's dog (Dachshund/Beagle mix) constantly aggressively scratches on my bedroom door to get in and go under my bed. I do not like him in my room. On 2 occasions, I came home to find he has peed on my bed. How can I keep him off my door and out of my room? Thank you!!!!

I would recommend putting a baby gate in front of the closed door. This way Bobo cannot scratch and bother your door. He may continue to lay outside the door but this way he won't be able to get in or cause any harm.
