I am not sure whether you want to train Baylee to the pad or to go outside. EIther way, you will need to keep her on a leash (you can attach it to your belt loop to keep your hands free). If you want her to do her business outside, when she starts to circle or sniff say something like "let's go outside!" and take her right out to her designated spot. Do not walk her around. Stand in one place and repeat "go outside." When she goes, praise her and bring her back in immediately. By catching her before she goes and preventing her from going in the house, she will get the idea and should start letting you know when she has to go out. Be watchful, because each dog comes up with her own way of doing that . . . it may be a bark, a scratch at the door, running back and forth, etc. If you need further assistance with this, just click on the prompt to initiate a consult. Good luck!
