My raw-fed German Shepherd has diarrhea but is still lively. Why?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 6 months old | 81.5 lbs

Young German shepherd - episodes of diarrhoea a couple of times a day for past week or so (not every day) - very well and lively in self - raw fed fir over 12 months with no problem - no specific protein seems to affect him

Causes for diarrhea could include irritation to something that Luka ate, intestinal parasites, stress, or a tummy bug. I would start by feeding the same formulation of food for 1 week. If he is still having diarrhea off an on in 1 week, it may time to have Luka examined by a veterinarian - take a fresh stool sample with you to the appointment so the vet can test it for intestinal parasties. You can try adding in probiotics. I like this product because it also has some kao pectate that will help with simple diarrhea: ProPectalin AntiDiarrheal Gel for Dogs
