My puppy poops too much and wakes me up. How to set a schedule?

Why does my dog go to the bathroom 5 times a day? He wakes me up everyday at 2am to go poop. How do I get him on a regular schedule? I feed him 3 times a day at the same time. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 23 days old | 48 lbs

He is very young and defecation will get more regular with age. From the third month you can take him out only and just after every meal. This usually helps and dogs get used to it very quickly.
