Why does my cat have bumpy pimples on his nose? Is it allergies?

Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | neutered | 11 months old | 9 lbs

My 11 month old black cat keeps getting a bumpy skin condition for n his nose. The hair is not where the bumps are. They look like little pimples. Thank you for your assistance.

It is possible that Proust is having an allergic reaction or allergy causing the little pimples. The 3 types of allergies in young cats are food, environtment or flea. I recommend applying flea prevention every 30 days. You can try to use glass feeding dishes that you clean often and avoid cat food with fish or beef in it. If Proust will let you, you can try to give him a medicated bath too. However if this is not improving I recommend taking him to the vet for a good exam. It is possible the pimples are infection and need antibiotics to resolve
