How to help my fearful ex-breeder dog overcome fear and thrive?

My dog was previously used for breeding. Now she is a pet. She's very frightened. She does give kisses, run or play or does she wag her tail. How can I get her to not be frightened and do these things. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed

It will probably take her some time to adjust to her new situation. Continue to socialize her as much as possible to get her used to being around other people and in different situations. You could also try an Adaptil collar and/or Solliquin chews to see if that helps her adjust. Good Luck!
