Should my dog wear nose sunscreen when playing outside in summer?

Does my dog need sunscreen on his nose during these hot summer months? He spends a good amount of time outside. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 55 lbs

If it is a light colored like white or tan and has a pink pigment on the nose and the hair is thinner this is a good idea. Watch the ears also as they can be a problem if white haired also. Just be careful to get a safe dog version or a human one that does NOt contain zinc oxide as this can be hazardous if large amounts are swallowed
