My dachshunds (11months and 3 months) got into a bag of jolly ranchers and may have at eaten some wrappers. Do I need to induce vomiting?

No they should pass ok. I would feed them so the wrappers get through the intestinal tract with the food. If they start vomiting or won't eat or do not pass stool the I would take them right in for an exam and X-rays. As long as they are acting normally it's fine to watch them and wait. That was naughty of both Luna and Mochi to eat those jolly ranchers! The wrappers themselves should pass without problem, so no I would not induce vomiting. If they ate the candy, the sugar may upset their stomaches, and you could see some vomiting, nausea, and/or diarrhea from it. If that happens, I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in their normal diet. I hope this helps!
