My French Bulldog's bum is swollen, red, and bulging. What to do?

Hello. My French Bulldog has a swollen bottom it is red bulging out his bum I did thought it was hemhorrids but somebody said dogs cannot get them. I keep bathing with warm water and cotton balls. He has been consitpated the past few days as I give him a lot of cheese before knowing it's bad for constipation. I just don't know what to do

I'm sorry to hear Bertie is having issues. It sounds like Bertie may be having an issue with his anal glands, which can become enlarged and infected if they are filling too quickly or not emptying properly. I would recommend Bertie be seen by his regular veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for his swelling, especially as infected anal glands can abscess and rupture. We would also want to be sure he doesn't have another underlying issue going on, if not an anal glands problem. Good luck!
