Why is my budgie picking feathers and has closed or squinting eyes?

My budgie keeps picking at it's feathers and they are falling she is also losing feathers around the the eye she is often squinting or has her eyes closed

These signs could be compatible with a mites infestation and possibly an upper respiratory tract infection/inflammation. Eyes squinting could be related to it as well as consequences of conjunctivitis or tear duct inflammation. I would recommend a check up to determine underlying cause of it and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.

    Picking at the feathers can be due to a skin condition such as mites for example but it could also be a sign of an internal disease. regarding the eye it is probably due to an eye infection. i would recommend taking Lily to an avian vet specialist in order to get those problems checked and treated.
