Pet's info: Cat | Colorpoint Shorthair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 6 months old | 11 lbs
I need to give my cat a pill for the first time and am not comfortable with putting it directly in her mouth, and unsure how to do this. Do you have any suggestions? Is it okay to try to grind it up in her food? It is metronidazole

Yes we do. I would definitely use either pill pockets (from your local pet store) or a pill gun (can be purchased from the pet store as well- check your local listings or your vet). You can try to mix it with some tuna. Metronidazole is ok to grind up if needed. Best of luck!
