Why won't my 8-month-old small dog eat? Am I overfeeding him?

My pup is almost 8months now it is not eating properly after eating chicken it doesn't eat properly next day.I feed him 3-4times daily is it enough?BTW it belongs to small breed. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | 7 months and 23 days old

He is likely being overfed. At this age, most dogs go down to 2 times daily feedings. And a Maltese will consume around 3/4-1 cup total a day until he reaches 1 year of age, then you can usually cut back to 3/4 cup maintenance for him. Best wishes taking care of your puppy and his nutrition.
