Can my puppy go 12 hours between meals or only eat twice daily?

Is it fine if there's a 12 hour gap between a pups dinner and breakfast ? Like at 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. I'm trying to feed him twice a day only to adjust his poo timings. Also, what else can I feed him other than puppy food ? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 9 days old

At his age it is not ideal because their blood sugar can get too low in the middle of the day. If it's unavoidable however, it is ok. Because of his high rate of growth, a quality diet labeled for puppies- especially large breed puppy- is the best thing for him. Congrats on your new little one and kisses to Max!
