Why is my dog vomiting regularly for no apparent reason? What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 7 years and 11 months old | 56 lbs

My Dog (8 years) old has been vomiting regularly. He has vomited about 6 times in a 10 day period. He vomited 2 nights ago with no apparent reason. Then again last night but he had chewed some sticks but I was expecting him to vomit after that. However he seems to vomit for no apparent reason. He had Diarreha also last night again with parts of stick in it. I'm not worried about the Diarreha it's the Vomiting that I'm worried about,as he seems to vomit for no apparent reason regularly. Thank you

I am sorry to hear Warwick isn't feeling well. I know you said you aren't concerned about the diarrhea, but since he is also vomiting, I would be concerned about both. I recommend a vet visit to rule out things like intestinal parasites, gastrointestinal obstructions, or something more serious. The vet will probably want to do blood work and x-rays, but I recommend getting Warwick there soon. Good luck and kisses to Warwick!
