Dog sick on kibble, better on rice. Is it her food or something else?

My dog has had diarrhea and been vomiting on and off for a week. I started feeding her hamburger and rice and she was better immediately. After four days I put her back on her normal dog food that she's been eating for years and within 48 hours her symptoms started again. So I stopped giving her dog food and gave her hamburger and rice. Once again as soon as I gave her hamburger and rice her symptoms stopped. Does this mean its her food or could it be something else? There is a good chance she has an absorption problem, preventing her from eating her regular dog kibble. Some possible causes of this are intestinal masses, a pancreas problem, or a lymphatic issues just to name a few. I would consider placing her on an easily digestible vet approved food such as Royal Canin Ultamino, Royal canin vegetarian or Hill's Z/D. The hamburger and rice can be continued if you also add in vegetables to make it a well balance nutritional diet.
