Hi me and my family just got home from vacation and I found my dog with a bump on her back. I don’t know if it is a mole or what but she also peed all over the couch which never happens but it was a lot of pee. Also we found a small amount of blood on her ball. I would call my vet but they are closed so please respond quickly

Hello there! I can understand your concern, especially when you come home from vacation and can't get in touch with a vet. The bump on her back is not an emergency. It could be a mole, a pimple, a bug bite, or a small cyst. Urinating on the couch could be from the stress of you being away, or it could be from a urinary tract infection (UTI). If she continues to urinate in odd places, urinates frequently, or develops any blood in her urine, you should have her checked at the vet for a UTI. This is also not an emergency, unless Miley is acting lethargic or having other symptoms. Lastly the blood on her ball is probably from chewing vigorously. It is not unusual for dogs to accidentally make their gums bleed on their toys from hard play or chewing. My suggestion would be to schedule Miley for an exam at the vet to have these concerns evaluated. They will take a look at the lump and see if it needs to be tested further, check her teeth and gums for any gingivitis or small injuries, and, if needed, collect urine for a urinalysis (to check for a UTI). I don't think you have anything to worry about tonight, so give your vet a call in the morning to set up an appointment. Good luck, and I hope Miley does well! :)
