My puppy won't eat Iams. What's the best healthy puppy food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 19 days old | 85 lbs

Zeus has been eating iams puppy food but he seems like he doesn't really like it?! But I've been hearing that royal canin is good, but then I'm hearing that it's bad because of some of the ingredients? What specific food should I get him because we are getting mixed reviews!:( we just want him to grow and be healthy!

As long as it is a name brand food with an AAFCO label on it. This means it has been tested and meets specific standards. Typically royal canin, Purina, science diet, and Iams qualify for this. Be careful switching foods without suddenly as this can cause diarrhea. It is best to mix them and gradually switch it over a week
