Why didn't my calm dog react to barking dogs? Is this normal?

Hello! I have a small 6 year old Terrier named Amos. He has always been very calm and well behaved. Recently, I visited family and their 3 huge dogs came running out of the house barking and heading straight for us. Amos had no reaction at all as they bounded up to him. My aunt laughed and said that Amos was either going blind or too dumb to know to be scared. Aside from my annoyance at someone picking on my dog, I was just wondering if this is typical behavior.

It sounds like Amos is very comfortable and trusting of other dogs, which is great! :) Some dogs are simply more laid back and easy-going than others, so this isn't necessarily abnormal at all. As long as he is acting normal otherwise and you have no other reasons to believe that something is wrong, this should not be any reason for concern.
