My 6 month old puppy hasn't eaten anything for 36 hours. She vomited yesterday morning and after that only drinks water. She just smells the food and turns away. What and how should I make her eat??

Poor girl. She may have an internal illness that is making her not want to eat. Since it has been more than 24 hrs I would encourage you to take her to your vet to get checked out. She may have an infection, organ malfunction, or a severe stomach upset from something she ate. She will likely need medications through your vet to help her get back on her feet. In the meantime you can try offering her small amounts of Pedialyte non-flavored (diluted 50:50 with water) and small amounts of a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. I hope Jessi feels better soon. Best wishes and take care.
