My dog got Bravecto and NexGard. Is it safe to combine them?

Hi there, I have been taking care of a stray dog for the past few days. At the vet they gave her Bravecto because she was found with many ticks. They had described this as something that would kill off existing fleas and ticks. At home I had some flea and tick preventive medicine, NexGard, so I just gave the dog one of those as well. Once I got to thinking a bit I realized I should have researched what Bravecto was exactly and found they are essentially the same medication. Will the dog be okay?

Yes, they do cover the same things, the only difference is a nexgardnwill last for 1 month and a bravecto will last for 3 months. They have different ingredients and a wide safety margin so you will unlikely notice any changes.
