My dog ran away, now sad and vomiting. Is she sick or just homesick?

My dog ran away and we brought her inside and she was fine at first then she started act I g sad. Then she threw up today a clear liquid. Could she be homesick from the backyard and re other dog that is back there? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 7 years and 1 month old | 10 lbs

It is more likely that while your dog was running free she ate something she was not supposed to that made her sick. I would watch her closely and if she gets worse, take her to a Vet asap. There are many things that dogs can get into that are quite toxic. For instance, antifreeze is often drained out onto the street by people and it tastes really good to dogs. Unfortunately it is highly toxic to them and can destroy their kidneys in a very short time.
