Why is my dog shaking, not eating, moving, or drinking, and has hives?

My dog hasn't been himself the last two days. He won't move or jump up on furniture or down he didn't eat all day yesterday I can't get him to drink water, he was shaking all day yesterday and now it comes and goes this just isn't like him and he has really terrible hives. I'm trying to figure out what this all could be. Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 28 lbs

I think there may be two things going on with Less. First, the hives on his skin are actually spots of infection that will need to be treated with antibiotics. Although this problem does need to be addressed I am more concerned with the fact that he is not eating and not moving around like he should. What you describe sounds like he may have back pain, probably from an inflammed disc in his neck or back. This usually requires medication to help relieve the pain and get him comfortable again. Because there are multiple issues going on with Less I would recommend taking him in to the vet to be evaluated. If left untreated the skin condition will spread and his back pain will progress.
