Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old | 22 lbs
My dog has been having diarrhea for the last three days. It rarely has any shape, mostly liquid. It runs out of his behind and that causes me to have to hose him off every time he goes to the bathroom. He has loss of appetite and won't drink a lot of water. My parents won't take him to the vet. He's 5 and he's mixed with a Lhasa Apso and Pekingese. He doesn't have any prior health conditions (at least not to my knowledge) and i'm not sure about vaccinations.

Hi, I am sorry to hear your dog is sick. It sounds like he needs to see a vet for some medications to stop his diarrhea. It may be he has eaten something that does not agree with him or it could be something more serious. You can try to give him boiled chicken and rice instead of his regular food for a few days to see if that helps. If it does not, tell your parents he needs to see a vet. Tell them that treating diarrhea sooner rather than later will cost less and save him from having to be hospitalized. It may be something simple but only an exam will tell you that. Good luck, I hope this helps!
