My 6 month old puppy is making a hacking/pig noise and we are ver concerened. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 15 days old | 2.646 lbs

In a youbg chihuahua thid noise could be a few things. It may be a hacking cough due to an infection such as kennel cough or it could be indicative of a physical problem such as a collapsing trachea or isdues with the soft palate/ epiglottis. As long as Hugo is breathing ok and seems bright you could hold off for tonight, but I would take him into the vet tomorrow for an exam to start getting to the bottom of this.
