Why is my dog coughing and has yellow-green nasal discharge?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 3 months old | 70 lbs

My dog has recently been having yellow and green discharge out of his nose and he's been coughing like trying to get something out of his theist but nothing comes out

It looks like and sounds like from your description that your dog has a respiratory infection. I would recommend that he be seen by your veterinarian as he needs some prescription antibiotics due to the thick nasal discharge. Your pet is contagious to all other dogs and should be isolated from any contact with any other dogs.

    Sounds like Brutus has a upper respiratory or sinus infection. He needs to be seen by a vet so he can get some antibiotics prescribed. That is not something you can treat at home. While you are waiting to get him to the vet you can put him in the bathroom with the door closed. Run the shower as hot as possible to make steam in there. This may help him breathe a bit better until you can him in for an exam. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
