Some cats can have mild neutropenia when compared to the reference range but be perfectly healthy - they just fall slightly outside of the curve. Neutropenia could also be a sign of a severe or acute infection, diseases like panleukopenia (also known as feline Distemper) or bone marrow disease if all cell lines in the blood count are affected. If your kitten is completely asymptomatic these other possibilities are unlikely. This might be something you should monitor in the future - I would recommend discussing with your veterinarian.
