Dog food bag feeding guide: Is the amount daily or per meal?

On my dog's food bag feeding guide, it says 5-10 pounds should eat 1/2-3/4 cups of food. I feed her twice a day but does that mean 1/2 the entire day or each meal time? Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Female | unspayed | 10 lbs

That feeding guide is for the whole day so Lulu would get 1/2 to 3/4 cups of food per day, not per feeding. I know it doesn't seem like much that is enough food for a small dog. I hope this answers your question!
