Hello! We have an 18 month old husky/lab mix. About 2 1/2 hours ago she was chasing balls outside and it's been a hot day (around 83 degrees at the time) and humid. We played for approx. 10 mins and when we came inside, she had these signs: wobbly/sideways walking and bumping into things, heavy panting, unfocused eyes. We were able to get her cooled down and she appears to be OK now, but would like to ask if we should still get her seen (and how soon) and if she may feel worse in the morning?

Heat strokes can be severe and cause bloody diarrhea and damage to the GI tract, kidney failure, seizures and bleeding disorders. If she is back to normal tonight and eating and drinking and responsive, then I would follow up with your vet in the morning. If she is lethargic and not eating/drinking or you notice any bloody diarrhea, she needs to be seen right away
