Dog has fleas on Seresto. When can I give Bravecto after Advantage?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 60 lbs

My 9 year old lab mix has had a seresto collar on for a little over a week and is still scratching away from collar. I found live fleas on her as well. All bedding was changed and area treated with Advantage. How long after I remove the collar can I treat her with Bravecto?

1 flea bite can make an allergic dog itch for several weeks so you may need medicine to treat the itching while the fleas get under control. You can administer the bravecto at any point when you remove the collar. A good bath will help also

If you applied Advantage topically to Daisy I would wait at least one week before giving the Bravecto. If you did not use Advantage ON Daisy then you can use the Bravecto at any time. I hope this answers your question!
