My puppy ate a mushroom. Is it poisonous to dogs? What should I do?

Hi, My three-month old puppy ate a Mutinus Elegans mushroom and I was wondering if any of those kinds were poisonous to dogs. This is what it looked like. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 11 lbs

The best thing to do is to call the ASCA Poison Control Hotline at 888-426-4435. There is a fee for the call, but I think for Piper's health and your peace of mind its worth it to find out the best next steps. To the best of my knowledge it is not toxic; HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that Piper can't or won't experience clinical signs. If Piper is experiencing any vomiting, diarrhea, and/or unusual behavior she should be seen by a veterinarian immediately. I hope this helps some!
