My dog touched a dead pigeon. What health risks should I worry about?

Hi I am concerned that my dog has touched a dead baby pigeon. Please could you advise to any potential risks nd what I should do. I am unsure that he did touch it as he didn't seem very interested in it. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 years and 9 months old

It's very common for dogs to pick up dead animals, roll on them, and even eat them sometimes - this normally doesn't cause any serious issues. In Charlie's case, since he barely touched it (if at all), I would not expect any problems at all - he should be just fine :)
