This it is an unlikely cause for vomiting and other possibilities should be ideally investigated. Dietary related episodes, gastrointestinal inflammation/infection and (given the age) more sinister causes like tumors must be considered. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Dental disease is a very unlikely cause for vomiting. The most common signs of dental disease are: trouble chewing food, only able to chew soft food, grinding teeth, shying away from people touching her face, not eating, bad breath. Causes of vomiting in an older dog are: food sensitivity, ate something that is disagreeing with her, kidney/liver problems, cancer, foreign body, food allergies. If Ashleigh is vomiting a lot and not eating they I recommend you have her seen. The Vet may want to fun blood work. Good luck!
