My dog has a purple bump by her eye. What could it be? Is it serious?

I was gone at work for the day and when I came home I noticed my dog had this purple bump by her eye. Can anybody tell me what this is please or how it could of happened. I don't know if she got hit.

It lools like a traumatic injury of some kind which has caused the skin to swell and bruise. She likely bumped into something. As long as the eye itself looks ok it ahould be fine. Keep an eye on it and if it is getting bigger or nit improving head to the vet.

I would have it looked it to see what It is. I would be worried about a tumor since it is changing over 2 weeks and not improving but that does not make it cancer! Your vet can aspirate cells to see if it is a tumor or a cyst or infection to see if medicine or surgery is needed
