My dog has dark scabs on her hind end after heat, what's wrong?

My Dobie just finished her heat and the stud was constantly licking her. I have never seen this before in 20 years of breeding. They are small dark scab like spots. I am concerned, as it is her whole hind end. Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 3 months old | 70 lbs

It sounds like she has developed dermatitis of some kind, it could be due to reaction to the dog's saliva licking her. Or sometimes the rubbing when they mate can irritate the skin. I would take Bella in to the vet so it can be tested to see what bugs are involved in the infection and how best to treat it.
