My dog has a huge growth on his leg. He is 14years old. Cross Chow Chow and Labrador. The PDSA says its hard so canerous and not feasible to operate as there is not enough skin to cover the hole once they have removed it. THey can only remove part but then it will just grow faster. THey also do not know if it has spread throughout his body. Also at his age he may not survive an operation. They advise to leave it and when it gets infected or too painful for him to consider euthenasia

That is probably the right advise, he is very old and the tumor will grow back for sure, it's just a matter of time unfortunately. it's probably best not to get him through that surgery as the recovery may be very problematic.
