My dog's chigger bites itch. Benadryl isn't working. What can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Female | spayed | 5 years and 6 months old | 90 lbs

My poor dog is covered with chigger bites on her belly. She gets minimal relief from oral benadryl. What is the best, and safest, way to treat her itching? I know she will lick at whatever I apply topically. She has Frontline on. What is the best way to repel chiggers?

An oral flea preventive such as Nexgard or Simparica will help with chiggers, and it is safe to give in conjunction with Frontline. You may need to see your vet to get something stronger than Benadryl to control her itching however.
