New hyperactive dog won't eat or drink. What's the problem and breed?

Hi. I got a new dog a few days ago. He is hyperactive but refuses to eat or drink water. What could be the problem? Also whats his breed? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Max could be a Spitz or a Samoyed. Or a mix. Max may need time adjusting to a new home. Try adding warm water to his food or adding a tablespoon of canned food mixed with water to see if that will get him to eat. Try sitting with him while he eats. Good luck!
