Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 70 lbs
my dog has dry skin ans he is also balding. His nose is cracked and dry. He also has sores that bleed when licked and scabs he used to be happy and healthy what's going on. I truly don't have the funds to take him to a vet.

It sounds like Rook is definitely very uncomfortable. If you really are unable to have him ctopical hecked out (which I would strongly recommend based on how serious the skin condition sounds), the at home remedies I would recommend include flea / tick treatment, medicated bathing, and medications such as benadryl. You will also want to apply an e-collar to Rook to prevent any further licking and biting that is causing a worsening condition while the situation is getting under control. If none of these are working in an appreciable amount, I would tell you to begin to try and save a little bit to have him checked out. Their are prescription medications that might work really well in getting the itchiness under control and make Rook a happier dog. Hope this helps.
