Cat sick after boarding: pink eye, drinking, sleeping. What's wrong?

I just picked up my cat from the cat boarder he was at for 5 days. He's drinking a lot more water than usual, sleeping a lot more and he definitely has pink eye. What could happened to him. He's fully vaccinated. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 10 months and 22 days old | 8 lbs

Kennels and other places that pets frequent can often harbor illnesses. Add in the stress of being boarded for a few days, and your cat may have picked up something such as an eye infection or respiratory infection from the kennel. If Goose doesn't improve, or is acting very ill, bringing him into the vet for an exam is best. Since some illnesses are bacterial, rather than viral in nature, a fully vaccinated cat can still get sick from them.
