Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 45 lbs
My dog recently did his business outside and had a large pile of yellow diarhea, tinted with a brownish red. I'm worried because he recently decided to have the bright idea to chew up my roommates glasses and dime sized chunk was missing from one of the lenses. I thought he passed it last week with no trouble.

Hi, thanks for using Petciach. Poor Chesty! If he only ingested that small of a piece from the glasses I think the diarrhea is likely unrelated. He could have eaten something else that is disagreeing with him now though! Other causes of diarrhea are: intestinal parasites, virus, toxins, food sensitivities.red or blood in the feces indicated inflammation in the colon. You can try a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice about 1 cup per 20lbs per day until 1-2 normal stools. If vomiting starts or the diarrhea doesn't improve I recommend you take him to the Veterinarian. Good luck!
